Sascha Lenz has been appointed as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage at Grand Hyatt Goa

Grand Hyatt Goa has taken aboard Sascha Lenz as the Executive Assistant Manager to spearhead the food and beverage operations across the resort. With over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Sascha has been associated with hotels such as the Sheraton and the Mandarin Oriental, prior to joining Hyatt, in the year 2007. Originally from Germany, Sascha started his career in 1999 after which his impressive food and beverage knowledge; as well as managerial skills have taken him from his home country to the United States of America, Hong Kong, Russia and then to United Kingdom. Sascha’s career with Hyatt started at Grand Hyatt Berlin as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. He was subsequently assigned to Russia, at the Hyatt Regency Ekaterinburg, which was his first stint as the Director Food and Beverage and later transferred to Hyatt’s first Andaz hotel at Liverpool Street, London in the United Kingdom. As the new Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage at Grand Hyatt Goa, Sascha is responsible for planning, organising, and controlling the work of the food and beverage division, ensuring smooth, efficient and up-to-standards running of the hotel’s facilities and food and beverage outlets, as well as maintaining high professional standards of quality and service. With his expertise and fresh insights, Sascha will ensure Grand Hyatt Goa continues to provide guests with the best culinary experiences and service; and drive F&B innovation and creativity.

Sunishchal Parasnis has been appointed as Director of Sales at Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa

Sunishchal Parasnis has been associated with the hospitality industry for almost a decade now, with nine memorable years in Hyatt India. A keen learner with a unique sense of humour, Sunishchal has successfully made a mark for himself in the hospitality arena in these years. After a fruitful tenure at Grand Hyatt Mumbai in various roles in the Sales and Marketing team, Sunishchal has now been appointed Director of Sales for the luxurious Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa, the first Park Hyatt Hotel in India.

Amit Pathania has been appointed as Executive Chef at Alila Diwa Goa

With his varied experience and well-rounded specialities spanning Indian, Western, Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, Chef Amit’s core expertise lies in managing food and beverage production operations. He began his career at The Trident, Udaipur in 1999, going on to play key roles at luxury hotels such as the Hyatt Regency New Delhi, Taj Fort Aguada Beach Resort Goa, Grand Hyatt Mumbai and Taj West End Bangalore. He further honed his culinary skills at Bon Appetit, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Dublin, Ireland led by Chef Oliver Dunne.
