Hilton Worldwide Expands Presence in Turkey with the Opening of New DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir

– DoubleTree by Hilton Izmir – Alsancak today welcomes guests for the first time, marking the upscale brand's debut in Turkey's third most populous city. The 115-room hotel recently underwent a refurbishment programme and boasts a stunning roof top pool and bar, providing views over Izmir's city centre and the Aegean Sea. The 21 storey hotel appeals to both corporate customers and leisure visitors, and incorporates a range of upscale amenities for which DoubleTree by Hilton is known around the world. Riza Elibol has been appointed as General Manager at Swissôtel Grand Efes

Riza Elibol started his career in İstanbul Etap Hotel and worked in many hotel chains in İstanbul, Ankara, Konya in Turkey and Switzerland, Kuwait, Bahrain, Nigeria, United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan abroad. Elibol, a graduate of Hotel Management & Tourism had also opportunity to further his education in Switzerland and USA. Rıza Elibol was the General Manager of Intercontinental Almaty Hotel in Kazakhstan before starting his new position in Swissôtel Grand Efes, İzmir.
