Daniel Canas has been named General Manager at Capella Marigot Bay Resort & Marina
Capella Marigot Bay Resort & Marina, Saint Lucia is pleased to welcome Daniel Canas as the property’s new General Manager. He joins the dynamic team at Capella from Garcha Boutique Hotels, where he was tasked with opening their first property in Chile. With more than 30 years of experience in the international luxury hospitality sector throughout Latin America, Asia and the United States, Canas brings highly-developed skills in Customer Service, Quality Assurance and a passion for Food and Beverage Operations.
Jason Kycek has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Capella Marigot Bay
Jason Kycek has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for Capella Marigot Bay, Saint Lucia formerly known as Discovery at Marigot Bay. Capella Hotels and Resorts which manages ultra-luxury hotels such as Capella Singapore and Capella Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, assumed management of the resort after it was acquired by an international development group in August 2013. Capella has already started to introduce its award-winning service philosophy at the resort, which has been rebranded as Capella Marigot Bay, Saint Lucia and Kycek's immediate focus will be to position the resort as one of the most desirable luxury resorts in the Caribbean as well as developing creative and exciting guest experiences for years to come.Before joining Villa del Palmar, Kycek was the Corporate Director of Travel Industry Sales and Marketing for KSL Resorts. At KSL, Kycek was responsible for seven award-winning resorts, and helped generate record-breaking revenues and developing partnerships with luxury brands. Before he was appointed to the corporate office for KSL, Kycek served as Director of Travel Industry Sales for the Doral Resort (also a KSL managed property) where he stood-out as one of their key employees, thereby earning him a starring role in the corporate department.
