Hyatt Centric Montevideo In Uruguay Opens Today
Hyatt announced today the opening of Hyatt Centric Montevideo, the brand's first hotel to open outside of North America, and the second Hyatt-branded property in Uruguay. The 178-room hotel is located in the bustling Pocitos neighborhood, a prime destination for guests to explore and discover the heart of Montevideo. Hyatt Centric Montevideo is in close proximity to many of the area's business and leisure districts, including the World Trade Center, Montevideo Shopping and Ciudad Vieja, as well as La Rambla, the coastal avenue where locals meet daily to exercise, socialize and take in the city's best sunsets.

Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) announced the signing of a management agreement with Saceem Group to build and operate a new 120-room Hampton by Hilton hotel in Carrasco, department of Canelones, Uruguay – a stone's throw from Carrasco International Airport. Scheduled to open in 2017, this mid-priced hotel will become the third property in Hilton Worldwide's Uruguay portfolio, joining the renowned Conrad Punta del Este and Hilton Garden Inn Montevideo which is set to open later this month.
Hyatt Announces Plans for a Hyatt Hotel in Montevideo
Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Dilony S.A. for a new Hyatt hotel in Montevideo, Uruguay. Hyatt Montevideo will mark the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Uruguay, bringing the total number of announced Hyatt-branded hotels under development in Latin America to 14.
