Dusit Thani Maldives has appointed Mr Jacques Leizerovici as its new General Manager, effective 30 August 2022. Mr Leizerovici, a dual French-Canadian citizen, brings to the role more than 30 years of experience working in senior management positions for renowned hotel brands under the Accor group across South America, Malaysia, and Canada.

Iryna Okopova has been appointed as Marketing and Communications Manager at Dusit Thani Maldives

Dusit Thani Maldives, a luxury resort on Mudhdhoo Island owned and operated by Thailand's foremost hotel and property development company, Dusit International, has appointed Ms. Iryna Okopova as its new Marketing and Communications Manager. Ms Okopova, a Ukrainian national, brings to her role more than 13 years of working experience, 6 of them for leading hotels in Ukraine and UAE. She began her career working in the Food & Beverage department and later on in Sales & Marketing of Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv, before moving to the Rixos Bab Al Bahr resort in Ras al-Khaimah, UAE. Prior to joining Dusit, she was PR & Marketing Executive of the resort. In her new role, Ms Okopova will oversee and develop Dusit Thani Maldives' marketing and communications efforts in line with Dusit branding and the hotel's overall strategy. "Iryna has a wealth of experience in the luxury hospitality industry and we feel very fortunate to have her join the hotel team," said Mr Reinhold Johann, General Manager, Dusit Thani Maldives. "Her expertise, leadership acumen, and general zest for life will be a true asset to Dusit as the company embarks upon an exciting stage of tremendous growth." Ms Okopova holds a Master's degree in International Economics and Business Development from Kyiv National Economic University named after V.Getman.

Niclas Prokop has been appointed as Sales Director at Dusit Thani Maldives

Prokop, a German national, joins the property from his most recent role as Chief Commercial Officer at Azulik Hotel & Maya Spa, Mexico. He brings with him over 24 years of experience working for international tour operators such as Thomas Cook and Dertour, in addition to a number of hotel chains in the Maldives – Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa, Ayada and Kanuhura.Prokop possesses great leadership skills, a passion for excellence, and a talent for developing high performing teams that deliver excellent business results. In his new role, he will be responsible for fostering relationships with key partners, driving revenue and accomplishing sales and marketing goals, said Dusit Thani Maldives.

Andres Rubio has been appointed as General Manager at Dusit Thani Maldives

Andres Rubio, a seasoned veteran with over 30 years of experience in hotel operations, joined Dusit Thani Maldives in June 2011. He will launch the island resort in February 2012, said a statement.
