Victorio Gonzalez has been appointed as Resort Manager at Montage Deer Valley

An integral part of the management team since the company’s inception in 2003, Gonzalez brings 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality. He joined Montage Hotels & Resorts as opening Studio Manager of the company’s first property, Montage Laguna Beach, was promoted to Director of Restaurants and went on to serve as Director of Food & Beverage at Montage Laguna Beach and Montage Beverly Hills.

Allen Highfield has been appointed as General Manager at Montage Deer Valley

Highfield joins Montage Deer Valley with an extensive and diverse background in the luxury hospitality industry where he has operated in resort mountain destinations, as well as urban luxury properties. Most recently, he served as General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco. It was during Highfield's tenure as General Manager that the hotel received recognition as one of the "Top 20 Best City Hotels in the World" by Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report - the only Ritz-Carlton that year to receive this distinguished award. Prior to his position at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, Highfield was the opening General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. While with Ritz-Carlton, Highfield also held the positions of General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown (Washington, DC), Hotel Manager of The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park (New York City), and Director of Operations of The Ritz-Carlton Club, Bachelor Gulch (Colorado). He began his hospitality career with Hyatt Regency and also held several management positions at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, Illinois and the Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado, prior to joining Ritz-Carlton. Highfield is a graduate of Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.

Zachary Frangos has been appointed as General Manager at The Sky Lodge

Prior to joining The Sky Lodge, Frangos most recently served as opening general manager of Escala Lodge in Park City, part of the Canyons Resort. In 2006, he became vice president of hotel operations/managing partner at Avenue Communities, where he managed a new “urban resort” condominium concept with five separate locations in downtown Park City. Given Frangos’s knowledge of the area and his experience at some of the best properties in the region, he welcomed the opportunity to join The Sky Lodge.

Timothy Rutland has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Stein Eriksen Lodge

Rutland, with more than 20 years of hospitality experience in both independent and branded properties, is responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive business to Stein Eriksen Lodge and The Chateaux at Silver Lake; both properties managed by Stein Eriksen Lodge Management Corporation. Rutland comes to Stein Eriksen Lodge after working for many years for Ritz-Carlton at the Half Moon Bay, CA, Phoenix, AZ, and Marina Del Rey, CA properties; L'Ermitage Beverly Hills and most recently as the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, CA. Rutland is replacing Jan Raio former Director of Sales & Marketing. Raio announced her retirement after 17 years of valuable service at the Lodge.

Steve Lindburg has been appointed as General Manager at Dakota Mountain Lodge

Steve Lindburg faced a career dilemma. He had a great job running the Hilton Salt Lake City Center hotel for the past 16 years. Hilton had given him opportunities to become general manager of higher profile hotels in the company chain. But with his son, Scott, in his senior year at Brighton High School, the Lindburgs had no desire to disrupt that important part of his life with an out-of-town move. Then the Dakota Mountain Lodge opened at The Canyons, outside of Park City. Problem solved. A Hilton property that also boasts the Waldorf-Astoria brand name, the 170-condominium lodge needed a general manager who knew the company's ins-and-outs but also was familiar with Utah's unique landscape. The fit was ideal for Lindburg, who also chairs the Utah Board of Tourism Development. Little wonder, then, that he said, "I'm probably the luckiest man on the planet.
