Barry Goldstein has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer at Wyndham Worldwide

Wyndham Worldwide revealed executive leadership appointments for the new, publicly traded pure-play hotel company to be created by the 2018 spin-off from Wyndham Worldwide. Mary Falvey, currently serves as EVP and chief human resources officer at Wyndham Worldwide. Falvey will assume this role immediately in addition to her current role at Wyndham Worldwide.

Michael D. Brown has been appointed as President and CEO at Wyndham Vacation Ownership

Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE: WYN) has announced the appointment of Michael D. Brown as president and chief executive officer of Wyndham Vacation Ownership effective immediately. Most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer of Hilton Grand Vacations (NYSE: HGV), Brown brings more than 25 years of experience leading a diverse range of asset management and vacation ownership sales functions. Brown will report to Wyndham Worldwide Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Stephen P. Holmes, who has been serving as interim leader of the business since the start of the year. Orlando-based Wyndham Vacation Ownership is the world leader in timeshare development, sales, and management with 219 resorts and over 887,000 owners globally. Prior to serving as HGV’s chief operating officer, Brown led its domestic sales organization, which nearly doubled its sales revenue under his leadership. Brown joined HGV in 2008 after serving in a series of sales, development, operations, and finance leadership roles across the U.S., Europe and the Caribbean for more than 16 years at Marriott International and Marriott Vacation Club International.

Mary Lynn Clark has been named President, Wyndham Vacation Rentals North America at Wyndham Vacation Rentals

As a member of the Wyndham Exchange & Rentals senior leadership team, Clark will be responsible for leading and growing the company’s North American rental businesses, which include such well-known brands as ResortQuest, Kaiser Realty and Oceana Resorts. Clark will be based in Parsippany, N.J. and report directly to the COO & CFO of Wyndham Exchange & Rentals, Gail Mandel.

Andrea Carnevale has been appointed as General Manager at Embassy Suites Parsippany

Carnevale brings 18 years of experience to his new role. Most recently, he was cluster general manager of Hilton Rome Airport and Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport in Italy where he was responsible for managing the two hotels with a team of 330 members. Previously, Carnevale served as director of operations for Hilton Rome Airport where he was responsible for cost control and a capital expenditure plan, recruiting team members and facilitated the re-organization of the operations department. Carnevale has also held positions with Sheraton Golf Parco de’ Medici Hotel & Resort, Hilton Rome Airport and Radisson Diamond cruise ship. Carnevale graduated from Istituto Tecnico Commerciale in Rome, Italy.

Gail Mandel has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Wyndham Exchange & Rentals

Following Geoff Ballotti's transition to Wyndham Hotel Group, Gail Mandel, chief financial officer of Wyndham Exchange & Rentals will assume additional responsibilities as chief operating officer for the division, reporting to Stephen P. Holmes. Wyndham Exchange & Rentals encompasses RCI, the global leader in timeshare vacation exchange, which today provides flexible vacation options to its approximately 3.7 million subscribing members each year to almost 4,500 affiliated resorts in over 100 countries; and Wyndham Vacation Rentals, the world's largest professionally managed vacation rentals business, providing access to approximately 103,000 vacation rental properties across Europe and North America.

Kevin Linder has been appointed as Vice President of Finance, North America at Wyndham Vacation Rentals®

Linder will lead the Wyndham Vacation Rentals finance organization and support the company’s business strategies to drive growth and profitability. He will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations and providing leadership on acquisitions, new product development and implementation, and capital projects. He will also ensure compliance with all financial transactions, policies, procedures and reporting. Linder will be reporting directly to both the president of Wyndham Vacation Rentals North America, LLC, Bob Milne, and senior vice president of financial planning and analysis for Wyndham Exchange and Rentals, Michael Toscano.Prior to joining Wyndham Vacation Rentals, Linder served as vice president of financial planning and analysis for Wyndham Worldwide where he was responsible for overseeing financial planning in corporate services and across the company’s business units. Linder has also held leadership roles at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service and NCR Corporation.

Patrick Davis has been appointed as Vice President of Operations, North America East at Wyndham Vacation Rentals®

Wyndham Vacation Rentals®, part of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE: WYN), announced today the appointment of Patrick Davis as vice president of operations, North America East, effective immediately. Davis most recently served as the general manager of ResortQuest Delaware overseeing and managing Wyndham Vacation Rental operations for over 1,000 rental accommodations in the Mid-Atlantic and over a dozen independent homeowner associations Wyndham manages on a fee-for-service basis.Davis started in the hospitality industry in 1993 when he joined ResortQuest as the controller for the Sea Colony Realty and Sea Colony Management companies in Bethany Beach, Del. He then became the rental manager for ResortQuest Delaware in 1998 and was quickly promoted to director of operations in 1999, overseeing vacation rentals and homeowners association managements. In 2001, Davis assumed the role of general manager, leading the real estate brokerage portion of the Delaware business in addition to his existing responsibilities.

Bob Milne has been appointed as President at Wyndham Vacation Rentals North America

Wyndham Exchange & Rentals announced the appointment of Bob Milne to the position of president, Wyndham Vacation Rentals North America. In this newly-created role, Milne will be responsible for leading and growing the company’s North American rental businesses which include such well-known brands as ResortQuest, Steamboat Resorts and The Resort Company. He will be based in Parsippany, N.J. and report directly to Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO, Wyndham Exchange & Rentals.

David Cavallaro has been named 2009 General Manager of the Year at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts

Officials of Marshall Hotels & Resorts, Inc., a leading, Maryland-based hotel management and services company, today announced that David Cavallaro has been honored by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts with the upscale hotel chain’s prestigious General Manager of the Year award for 2009. Cavallaro is GM of The George Washington, A Wyndham Grand Hotel, in Winchester, Va. Under Cavallaro’s leadership, The George Washington, A Wyndham Grand Hotel, increased year-over-year occupancy by 55 percent and improved RevPAR Marketshare Index by 250 percent. The award was presented by John Green, senior vice president of operations for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, and Diane Barr, vice president of customer experience, at Wyndham Hotel Group’s recent global conference in Las Vegas.
