Andrew Falter has been appointed as Director of Group Sales at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa

With more than 30 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, Falter bring extensive knowledge of the Mid-Atlantic, New York, and New England association markets to Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa. Prior to this role, Falter was founder and president of Sponsorship Reliance Group, a company designed to assist associations with growing sales revenue. He was previously the director of association sales at Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and has held leadership positions within Tishman Hotel Corporation, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, and Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Falter is also a member of American Society of Association Executives and Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), having served on the 2014-2015 PCMA Capital Chapter Board of Directors, as well as the Sponsorship and Membership Committees with the PCMA Capital Chapter. A graduate from Michigan State University, Falter participates as a mentor in the University's Spartan Mentor/Mentee program, volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America, and is an active member of Toastmaster's International.

Char Thian Miller has been appointed as Marketing Manager at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa

Char Miller manages Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa's day-to-day implementation of marketing and communications initiatives. Miller arrived at the resort from The Big Easy where she spent 12 years as Director of Public Relations for The Ritz-Carlton Hotels of New Orleans, the city's premier luxury hotel complex. Along the way, she also acted as Area Director of Public Relations for The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Hotels of New Orleans where she oversaw marketing and communication initiatives for 17 properties immediately following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

Chris Bracken has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa

With over 30 years of experience at upscale hotels and resorts - including more than a decade at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa - Chris Bracken oversees all sales and marketing efforts including creating strategies for increasing business from the group clientele and leveraging the resort's incomparable golf experience to draw leisure and business travelers alike.

Jason Heath has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa

Heath has more than 18 years of sales and marketing experience in the hotel and resort industries throughout the Southeastern United States. Prior to joining Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa, Heath spent 10 years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts at properties including the Westin Atlanta North and the Westin Resort Hilton Head Island. Heath also has worked at independent golf and beach resorts including Daufuskie Island Resort and Breathe Spa, and The Sea Pines Resort, which is home to Harbour Town Golf Links and the Verizon Heritage PGA TOUR event. Heath has a bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism administration from the University of South Carolina.
