A new opening is about to take place at the very heart of Europe. The four-star IntercityHotel Saarbrücken will become the next hotel to operate under the brand when it opens for business on 1 July 2020. It is located opposite the Congress Hall, right in the city centre as usual, and offers 170 comfortable guest rooms designed by the Italian architect Matteo Thun as well as a restaurant, a BistroLounge and five conferencing and events rooms. The main station is only 300 metres away. Sights such as Saarbrücken Castle and various museums are easily accessible on foot. The project has been developed in conjunction with the ALTIN-Immobiliengruppe.
The new IntercityHotel Saarbrücken is scheduled to open for business in the second half of 2020. 41-year old Suat Cavdar has been entrusted with the task of supervising the pre-opening process and future direction of the hotel as the General Manager. Due to his previous positions as Hotel and Cluster Manager at Motel One he brings a host of leadership expertise to the table. Mr. Cavdar, who holds a degree in tourism and hotel management, began his career as Head of Reception at the Star Inn Hotel near Munich.
