Chew is an F&B veteran, with 22 years of experience in restaurants and bars around the region under her belt. She worked her way up at international chain hotels before joining the Shangri-La Group in the year 2004.

Pecoraro will support Jamie Mead, Regional General Manager for Malaysia to oversee the operation and lead the management team at the hotel located in Sabah"s capital city, Kota Kinabalu. Originally from Brisbane, Australia of Italian descent, Pecoraro has a strong background in hotel management she brings with her more than 20 years" experience in the industry with international hotel chains, much of this time served with Hilton and throughout various locations increasing revenue and driving innovation across the globe.
Mr. den Oudsten is an Australian national and brings with him over 17 years of extensive experience in hotel management. Having previously worked in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, China, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Australia, he is has been all over the world. Now, for the first time, Mr. den Oudsten is making Kota Kinabalu his current city of residence by joining Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa as the general manager.
