New Accor openings across Germany

Two Ibis-branded hotels, Ibis and Ibis Budget, will open at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport in spring 2025. Each hotel will offer 114 rooms, along with shared spaces including a lobby, reception, and café. With direct access to the airport via an S-Bahn connection, these hotels will cater to both business and leisure travelers passing through Berlin.

It's hard to get any closer: with a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, the IntercityHotel Berlin Airport BER opened directly on Willy-Brandt-Platz at Berlin Brandenburg Airport on 19 January 2023. The six-storey 3-star hotel offers guests from all over the world around 360 rooms, five meeting and conference rooms, a sauna and fitness area as well as a restaurant and hotel bar. Terminals 1 and 2 of BER Airport are within walking distance.

196-Key Hampton by Hilton close to the new BER airport planned for 2024

Hampton by Hilton Berlin Airport West will be Hilton's first property at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, the German capital's international airport. Opened in 2020, the airport replaced Berlin Tegel Airport and Berlin Schönefeld Airport, which combined saw more than 35 million passengers in 2019. Scheduled to open in November 2024 and operating under a franchise agreement with long-standing Hilton partner tristar GmbH, the hotel will offer 196 guest rooms, a breakfast area and bar, a gym, and 150 parking spaces. The airport's terminals and the city centre are easily accessible by train in less than five minutes and 35 minutes respectively.

ECE and Deutsche Hospitality celebrate the launch of the new Steigenberger Airport Hotel on the occasion of the opening of the capital's airport

Deutsche Hospitality and ECE have opened the new Steigenberger Airport Hotel on the same date that the Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) went operational. Together with BER boss Engelbert Lütke Daldrup and accompanied by a welcoming address by Brandenburg's Minister of Economics Jörg Steinbach, Claus-Dieter Jandel, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer of Steigenberger Hotels AG, and Andreas Mattner, Managing Director of ECE Development, symbolically cut the ribbon today to mark the opening of the new building.
