Officials of New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel owner, operator and developer, today named Sam Peraza general manager of the 122-suite Homewood Suites Virginia Beach. Most recently, Peraza was the general manager of the Homewood Suites in Williamsburg, Va., where his hotel was the top performing hotel in its category for two consecutive years according to the STAR report. Peraza began his career with the Hampton Inn and Suites in Williamsburg, Va., and twice was the manager of the year at the Omni Newport News Hotel where he was the director of sales and marketing.
Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Douglas E. Wolfe, C.H.A. as General Manager for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront. The 144 guestroom select service hotel, comprised of 18 2-bay suites and 126 guest rooms, is located oceanfront at 2607 Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach. The property recently completed a major renovation and rebranding to incorporate the standards of the Holiday Inn Express brand.
Ms. Bottenfield was previously the Director of Operations for the Crestline Hotels & Resorts managed Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel, Virginia Beach. She brings more than 10 years of operations and hospitality industry management experience to this new position. Prior to joining Crestline she held various positions with Tidewater Hotels & Resorts, as well as Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. Ms. Bottenfield holds a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg.
