The Middle House, the latest addition from Swire Hotels, has officially unveiled its newest concept, MI XUN SPA | THE LAB | SHOP, offering an urban destination for wellness in the heart of Shanghai. The popular concept of MI XUN arrives at The Middle House from The Temple House, evolving into a new, uplifting and cutting-edge health experience apt for Shanghai: LAB Treatment, LAB Wellness, LAB Beauty and SHOP. Spread through 2,600 sqm, guests will find an array of features, from the heated indoor swimming pool to 24-hour gym facilities, wellness studio and spa treatments. There are also services and treatments co-branded with expert providers, and guests can purchase health and wellness products from a specially curated selection of premium brands at the SHOP.

Dale Parkington has been appointed as Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Dale Parkington as hotel manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing on July 12. Parkington hails from South Africa and brings to the team over 20 years of hospitality experience gained at prestigious luxury hotel properties around the world. He started his career at The Royal Hotel in Durban, South Africa and led food and beverage operations at multiple Grand Hyatt Hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Parkington then joined One & Only Resorts as resort manager of two iconic properties in Africa and the Caribbean. Most recently, Parkington was the resort manager at The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort, located in the Bahamas.In his new role, Parkington will oversee the food and beverage, culinary and rooms division and focus on maximizing revenue and strengthening the extraordinary services of The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing while creating lifetime memories for its guests. His proven track record of remarkable leadership will continue to inspire the potential of the hotel's exemplary staff, leading the team to achieve excellence in all that they do.

Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay has opened in Phoenix Bay. The opening signals the official launch of Zhuhai Phoenix Bay Banyan Tree Holiday Zone that will become Banyan Tree Group's first integrated resort in China. As the 15th Banyan Tree hotel in China and first Angsana-branded resort in Guangdong, Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay has 202 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a restaurant serving authentic Southeast Asian cuisine, and a spa.

Anantara to Debut in Chengdu, China
