Leading accommodation provider Oaks Hotels & Resorts, a division of Minor Hotel Group (MHG), is forging ahead
with its international expansion plans, announcing the launch of its first property in India, Oaks Neemrana,
scheduled to open in 2017.Neemrana is a fast developing business hub located southwest of New Delhi, on the Delhi
Mumbai Industrial Corridor, a mega infrastructure project worth US $90 billion, approximately 90 km from Gurgaon
and 140 km from Jaipur. Its history dates back to the 15th century with the construction of the famous Neemrana
Fort Palace, which was restored in 1991 and subsequently converted into a hotel that began attracting tourists to the
destination. Now a major industrial hub with a Japanese and Korean investment zone, Export Promotion Industrial
Park (EPIP), RIICO Industrial Zone 1 & 2 and Knowledge City, the buoyant economy of the region is making
Neemrana a lucrative option for individuals and companies to bring their businesses.Currently under development
and catering to both corporate and leisure guests, the 116-key Oaks Neemrana will feature a combination of vibrant,
self-contained Studios and One and Two Bedroom Apartments, complete with all the essential comforts the Oaks
Hotels & Resorts brand is renowned for. The property will also offer a selection of guest amenities, including a pool
with swim-up bar, well-equipped gymnasium, children's play zone and two distinct dining destinations – an all-day
dining restaurant with sky garden, plus lobby café and lounge bar. The hotel will also feature a dedicated
conferencing and meeting space with the capacity to accommodate up to 80 delegates.Chief Operations Officer of
Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Mr Mike Anderson, commented, "We are thrilled announce our entrance into India and the
introduction of the Oaks brand into a fifth country."Our strategy for Oaks Hotels & Resorts is to focus on expanding
our network through ongoing development and we will continue to explore opportunities throughout the Asia Pacific
region to complement our existing portfolio in Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and the United Arab
Emirates."India's burgeoning economy offers immense growth potential and, while Oaks Hotels & Resorts is already
well established as a leading hotel brand in Australia, we are eager to develop the brand further afield as we
continue to add properties in new destinations," said Mr Anderson.Adding to its appeal, Oaks Neemrana will form
part of a larger lifestyle development that will also see the completion of NSP Acardia Mall – Neemrana's newest
shopping and entertainment destination – which will conveniently be positioned beneath the hotel. An additional,
internationally branded hotel is also under development in the neighbouring tower, which is expected to open shortly
after the Mall and Oaks Neemrana. For more information on Oaks Hotels & Resorts, visit www.oakshotels.com
