Jason Kycek has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Capella Marigot Bay

Jason Kycek has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for Capella Marigot Bay, Saint Lucia formerly known as Discovery at Marigot Bay. Capella Hotels and Resorts which manages ultra-luxury hotels such as Capella Singapore and Capella Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, assumed management of the resort after it was acquired by an international development group in August 2013. Capella has already started to introduce its award-winning service philosophy at the resort, which has been rebranded as Capella Marigot Bay, Saint Lucia and Kycek's immediate focus will be to position the resort as one of the most desirable luxury resorts in the Caribbean as well as developing creative and exciting guest experiences for years to come.Before joining Villa del Palmar, Kycek was the Corporate Director of Travel Industry Sales and Marketing for KSL Resorts. At KSL, Kycek was responsible for seven award-winning resorts, and helped generate record-breaking revenues and developing partnerships with luxury brands. Before he was appointed to the corporate office for KSL, Kycek served as Director of Travel Industry Sales for the Doral Resort (also a KSL managed property) where he stood-out as one of their key employees, thereby earning him a starring role in the corporate department.

Mark Lyttleton-Frances has been named General Manager at The BodyHoliday

The BodyHoliday, St. Lucia’s premiere all-inclusive resort dedicated to health and well-being, recently welcomed Mark Lyttleton-Frances as General Manager. In his new position, Lyttleton-Frances will oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort while playing an integral role in the property’s $20 million makeover set for completion end of September 2011. Mark has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to his role at The BodyHoliday, Lyttleton-Frances served at Regional General Manager for development with MacDonald Hotels and Resorts in the United Kingdom. Previously, Lyttleton-Frances was Resort Director for De Vere Belton Woods Hotel & Country club for two years. He began his career in his native country of South Africa where he served as General Manager of TMS Hospitality, opening the Sandton and Cape Town International Convention Centres and conducting Project Build and Refurbishment works at the One & Only Reethi Rah, Kerzner International Atlantis and One & Only Cape Town. Mark graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management from the Durban University of Technology in South Africa. He resides in St. Lucia with his wife and three children.
