Nicole Casaletto has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Marriott AC Hotel Chicago Downtown

In her new role, Casaletto will be responsible for leading sales strategies and initiatives for the hotel, managing all group room bookings and business accounts, and maximizing all revenue streams. Prior to joining the AC Hotel Chicago Downtown, Casaletto served as group sales manager and business travel sales manager for The Godfrey Hotel Chicago, where she was part of the pre-opening team for the 221-room luxury boutique property. She exceeded all 2014, 2015 and 2016 quarterly group sales goals.

Chris Steffich has been appointed as Director of Operations at Eaglewood Resort & Spa

The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, June 2016 … Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Chris Steffich director of operations for Eaglewood Resort & Spa, a Benchmark Resort located in Itasca, Illinois, 30 minutes from the Chicago Loop. Tom Garcia, vice president and general manager for the resort, made the announcement. Chris Steffich was most recently the director of food & beverage for Lockheed Martin Center for Leadership Excellence. He held the same position for Stonewall Resort, a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property located in Roanoke, West Virginia. Earlier in his career he served as a team service leader for Walt Disney, Inc. Mr. Steffich attended West Virginia University at Morgantown and Fairmont State University of Fairmont, West Virginia.

Joseph Grossi has been appointed as Director of Events and Catering at Hilton Chicago

Hilton Chicago is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Grossi as director of events and catering. In his new role, Grossi will oversee all event service activities such as overseeing meetings and convention service staff, forecasting and monitoring group activity, managing team and individual goals and revenue tracking among other functions. Most recently, Grossi served 20 years as the director of events and catering at the Hilton Minneapolis. Prior experience includes serving as associate convention services director at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Minneapolis, director of food and beverage at the Sheraton Universal Hotel and the director of restaurants at the Sheraton Grande Hotel in Los Angeles. Grossi is a three-time recipient of the leadership award at the Hilton Minneapolis and played an integral role in securing the hotel’s recognition as the Best of Minnesota Meetings and Events Award seven consecutive years. He was also recognized as manager of the year at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Minneapolis.

Jennifer Shunick has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at Eaglewood Resort & Spa, Chicago

Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Jennifer Shunick director of human resources for Eaglewood Resort & Spa, a Benchmark Resort located in Itasca, Illinois, within Chicago’s northwest suburbs. Tom Garcia, vice president and general manager, made the announcement. Jennifer Shunick was previously director of human resources for the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile. Ms. Shunick is a graduate of Elmhurst College. She resides in Naperville, Illinois.

Kathy Heneghan has been appointed as Hotel Manager at The Hilton Chicago

Hilton Chicago is pleased to announce the promotion of Kathy Heneghan to hotel manager. A veteran of the hospitality and service industry, Heneghan brings more than 26 years of experience to her new role. As hotel manager, she will oversee the day-to-day management of travel industry relations, quality assurance, guest satisfaction, partnerships, building the meeting and events portfolio and support the on-site team as the 1,544 room hotel finalizes its top-to-bottom renovations. Most recently, Heneghan served as the hotel’s director of catering and events, director of events and executive assistant manager. Prior roles include the Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel’s assistant director of events and the Hilton Chicago’s meetings and conventions manager, senior catering sales manager and hospitality sales manager. Heneghan’s outstanding work ethic and leadership have secured honors such as Hilton Worldwide’s director of events of the year, Palmer House’s commitment award and Hilton Chicago’s manager of the quarter. In addition, Heneghan played an intricate role in securing Hilton Chicago’s recognition by Cvent as a top 100 meeting hotels in the United States, New Member of the Year Award from Historic Hotels of America and the IHLA Good Earthkeeping Award.
