John Branciforte has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Cheyenne Mountain Resort

John Branciforte comes to Cheyenne Mountain Resort with over two decades of hospitality sales and marketing experience. He previously invested five years of his career with Omni, serving most recently as director of sales and marketing for the Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate where he was active in the property’s repositioning. Mr. Branciforte also held the title of area director of sales and marketing, Texas Region, for the company. Earlier he served as director of sales and marketing for the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas near Dallas. Previous to this, John Branciforte was employed by Boyne USA Resorts, where he held the title of director of sales and marketing for three destination resorts in northern Michigan. These included The Inn at Bay Harbor, Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain. Earlier in his hospitality career, Mr. Branciforte worked with World Travel and Incentives of Minneapolis, Hilton Hotels and Resorts of Chicago, and for Westin Hotels and Resorts at properties in New York, San Francisco and Orlando.

Dani Stern has been appointed as General Manager at Westin Westminster

Mr. Stern most recently served as General Manager at the prestigious JW Marriott Denver at Cherry Creek. Under his management, the hotel was named the top JW Marriott property in North America in overall guest satisfaction and Stern was recognized with the General Manager of the Year and the Food and Beverage Excellence Award from the chain. The hotel also received a Customer Excellence Award for ranking in the top 2.5 percent of all Marriott Hotels in overall guest satisfaction. Prior to joining Sage Hospitality, Stern served as General Manager at the renowned Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona and has held a number of positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide including General Manager of the Westin Tabor Center in Denver and Director of Operations of the Westin Crown Center Hotel in Kansas City. Mr. Stern graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management, and he received a diploma in hotel and restaurant management from the Institute Hotelier Cesar Ritz in Switzerland.
