Cindy Racco has been appointed as General Manager at Encantado Resort

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has signed a long term management agreement with the owners of Encantado, an acclaimed resort in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to operate it as a Four Seasons resort. Following a short transition period, the property will be renamed Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe in the coming weeks. Effective immediately, Cindy Racco is appointed General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe. The 14-year Four Seasons veteran joins the team from the historic Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara in California, where she was Resort Manager.

Matthias Layton has been appointed as Director of Restaurants at Eldorado Hotel & Spa

Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading US-based hospitality management company, has named Matthias Layton director of restaurants for Eldorado Hotel & Spa, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Alfred J. Matter, Benchmark’s general manager at the hotel, made the announcement.Matthias Layton previously served as banquet manager for Eldorado Hotel & Spa. In this position he successfully implemented new departmental standards and procedures, streamlining operations and significantly reducing expenses. Prior to joining Eldorado, Mr. Layton was banquet manager for the Valley River Inn of Eugene, Oregon.

Colleen Kareti has been appointed as General Manager at The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa

Kareti brings 30 years of Hyatt Corporation experience to the Hyatt Regency Tamaya and has been the general manager for several Hyatt hotels throughout the United States including Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, Hyatt Regency Los Angeles, and Hyatt Rickey’s in Palo Alto. Kareti began her career in food and beverage with the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis in 1981.

Karen Butler has been named Drector of Sales and Marketing at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa

Butler brings 26 years of hospitality experience and is at the helm of the sales and marketing department of this 219-room hotel. In her new role, Butler is responsible for achieving revenue goals, developing hotel-wide sales and marketing strategies for the leisure and group segments and maintaining the highest levels of guest and associate satisfaction. No stranger to the Santa Fe region, Butler was director of sales & marketing at Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza for two years before joining the Eldorado Hotel & Spa executive team. Butler has also served as director of sales for Country Inn & Suites by Carlson in San Diego Sorrento Mesa, Residence Inn San Diego La Jolla and Hilton Pasadena in California. Butler began her career in the hospitality industry as a front office manager at the Pontchartrain Hotel in Detroit, MI.
