The hotel opened after a yearlong renovation turning the former Holiday Inn Downtown Centennial Park into the AC Hotel Atlanta Downtown. The hotel is located within walking distance to local attractions including the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Phillips Arena, the College Football Hall of Fame, and more.
The hotel is an open-concept style with modern furnishings and decor. The 255 guestrooms have hardwood floors, elevated beds, large bathrooms and a personal work area. There are communal spaces to relax as well as a 24-hour health and fitness studio, an outdoor patio, swimming pool and enclosed, open-air Zen garden.
