Meliá Hotels International to manage the Atalaya Park Hotel in Estepona from 2018
Meliá Hotels International will manage a new hotel in the province of Malaga and thus reinforce its continued commitment to resort hotels in Spain. The company will add the Atalaya Park Hotel to its portfolio, a four-star hotel alongside the sea in Estepona. The hotel will be totally renovated, with an investment of almost 18 million euros mostly financed by the hotel owners, to offer the Sol by Meliá brand experience. Sol by Meliá is the company"s most traditional resort hotel brand, and the hotel will be renamed the Sol Marbella Atalaya Park Hotel after renovation, incorporating the most modern attributes of the brand to position itself as one of the leading resorts on the Costa del Sol.

The hotel will provide 468 rooms as well as a choice of dining options which includes six restaurants and bars, an outdoor pool and a heated pool, playground and children's activities, gym, and a wide range of sports facilities, including a golf driving range. The hotel also has facilities for holding events, a booming market segment on the Costa del Sol.
Estepona is one of the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean, and in 2016 broke visitor records with the best figures for the last 10 years. With a magnificent coastline and excellent climate, the region offers a wide range of activities for visitors and is also a paradise for golfers thanks to the numerous golf courses in the area.
