MCR, the seventh largest hotel owner-operator in the United States, announced the grand opening of the Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach Central, a 112-room hotel located in the Center Port Business Park in Pompano Beach, Florida. The $21 million extended-stay hotel is owned and operated by MCR.

Located at 2880 Center Port Circle, the hotel is conveniently situated between the Sample Road and Copans Road exits of Interstate 95, and is a short drive from the award-winning Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, and Fort Lauderdale beaches, the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and the Port Everglades Cruise Port.

Known for its more than 3.5 miles of pristine white beach, Pompano Beach features numerous tourist attractions, including the only coral reef system in the continental United States. The City, which lies in the fundamentally strong Broward County, offers proximity to Interstate-95, Tri-Rail, the Brightline train service, the Pompano Beach Innovation District, three international airports and two major seaports. According to Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitor Bureau, Broward County welcomed 12.27 million domestic visitors in 2016, up four percent from 2015.

The hotel features studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully-equipped kitchens and residential-sized appliances, a 24-hour onsite food and beverage market, dry cleaning services, a business library, an outdoor swimming pool, an exercise room, meeting space and complimentary high-speed Internet access and hot breakfast.
