The 85-room hotel is a stunning testament to traditional Cycladic architecture, blending local stone with white walls and wooden windows. Here, on the island's longest stretch of sandy beach, a new temple will soon open its glorious shutters to sun-worshippers and oasis seekers worldwide.
Set on a private section of treasured sand beach, Myconian Avaton appears carved out of bare rock, rising up majestically above the parasol-dotted shoreline. Poured concrete floors are offset with a harmonious melding of modern and vintage furniture, infusing the overall with a contemporary yet classic spirit. The 85 guest rooms, suites, and two- to four-bedroom villas run from 26 to 200 square meters, some boasting private pools and jacuzzis.
