Hotel Equities Opens TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Mesquite, Texas
Hotel Equities (HE) announced the official opening of the new TownePlace Suites by Marriott-Dallas/Mesquite. The all-suite hotel owned by Profound Hotel Group, LLC is located at 500 Rodeo Center Boulevard. HE was brought on board in the preliminary phases of the project to ensure the project's success. Matt Saumer serves as General Manager and Thyme Ford serves as Director of Sales for the hotel. Connor Reyer serves as Assistant General Manager.

HE's recent opening of a Texas regional office, based in Houston, was part of a strategic growth plan to provide optimal support for the firm's growing number of hotels in the market. "Our regional team's deep knowledge of extended stay and convention business has allowed our sales and marketing and operations teams the ability to position the hotel among the areas best-in-class," said Joe Reardon, SVP of Business Development & Marketing for HE. "Having boots on the ground in-market allows us to deliver optimal results for our owners on opening day."
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Mesquite Convention Center and Exhibit Hall which boasts 21,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Local attractions include the Mesquite Rodeo, Mesquite Arena, Town East Mall and Old Downtown Mesquite. Dallas is just a short 15-minute drive. "We are excited to work with the Mesquite Convention and Visitors Bureau," said Matt Saumer, the hotel's general manager. "Our new hotel with convenient access to the convention center will be a nice addition to the CVB's thriving market.
