Kenya’s first Hilton Garden Inn celebrates opening at Nairobi Airport
Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton's (NYSE:HLT) midscale yet affordable global brand of hotels, celebrated the official opening of Hilton Garden Inn Nairobi Airport. The 175-room hotel marks the arrival of the Hilton Garden Inn brand in Kenya, and another milestone in Hilton's airport journey.

The hotel, which is less than 10 minutes' drive away from the airport and just 15km from the Nairobi Central Business District, offers easy access to Nairobi's major attractions including the Karen Blixen Museum, The Giraffe Centre, Bomas of Kenya and the Nairobi National Park.
On-site amenities at the hotel include a fully equipped fitness centre, heated rooftop swimming pool, and access to complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel also offers a wide range of innovative technology extending across payment security, guest room technology and business and conferencing facilities.
This opening of the property has also created 110 full-time jobs at the hotel, as well as opportunities for sub-contractors and entrepreneurs responding to the hotel's demand for products and services. The hotel's management team has also launched a training and development programme where team members can actively participate in cross training in other departments, so as to broaden their knowledge and skills.
