Hilton Hotels & Resorts Expands Presence in Central America with Opening of New Hotel in Guatemala
Hilton today announces the opening of Hilton Guatemala City, the brand's first property in Guatemala and a welcomed addition to Hilton's expanding portfolio in Central America. Strategically located near the historic heart of downtown, the 130-room neo-colonial-style hotel boasts an outdoor swimming pool, two whirlpools, lush gardens surrounding the guestrooms, restaurant and more than 4,000 square feet of event space.

Boasting a neocolonial infrastructure, Hilton Guatemala City offers spacious rooms featuring high ceilings and large windows, locally handmade décor, hand-painted murals and quarry statues. Surrounded by exuberant yards and an artificial waterfall, the guestrooms connect to the lobby through a cobblestone walkway over a bridge. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool, two whirlpools and a state-of-art fitness center.
For culinary lovers, the hotel's main restaurant Las Ventanas offers national and international cuisine with Mediterranean influence, served in an elegant dining room. Las Cascades bar overlooks the hotel's gardens and waterfall, while serving cocktails and appetizers.
For business conferences and events, Hilton Guatemala City offers seven meeting rooms as well as a business center and lounge. In addition to catering, the hotel provides guests with an optional tent for outdoor events.
Located on 9.5 CA-1 West, Vista Real Complex, the hotel is approximately five miles from the historic heart of Guatemala City, offering convenient access to top attractions such as Cayala District and Financial District Zona Pradera. The property is located less than eight miles from La Aurora International Airport.
