Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today officially opened DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge, marking the DoubleTree brand's first Western Australia property and the first new-build DoubleTree property to open in Australia. The 206-room hotel, which welcomed its first guests on December 21, 2018, is managed by Hilton under a management agreement with SKS Group.

The opening was officiated by WA Minister for Tourism the Honourable Paul Papalia CSC MLA and Windi Sim, Managing Director from SKS Group, as well as Perth Cluster General Manager David Constantine on behalf of Hilton. The opening incorporated a ribbon cutting ceremony and live creative performances by a local artist and Perth Festival musician.

DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge is located at 100 James Street, in the heart of the vibrant precinct of Northbridge. The full-service hotel resides in an ideal location for travellers with an array of restaurants, nightlife, shopping and cultural attractions all within close proximity. DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge is also the perfect location for business travellers with Perth's CBD just a ten-minute walk away.

The property features 206 well-appointed guest rooms including king or twin panoramic rooms, executive panoramic rooms and four executive deluxe panoramic rooms. The rooms feature contemporary design, Digital Key allowing Hilton Honors guests to use their smartphones as their room keys, Sweet Dreams® by DoubleTree sleep experience beds and Crabtree & Evelyn bath products.

All guests will receive the signature, warm DoubleTree Cookie at check-in, a hallmark of the DoubleTree brand's warm and hospitable service. The hotel also features an outdoor pool and bar, 24-hour fitness centre and a versatile meeting space with capacity of up to 160 guests. The executive lounge on level two offers complimentary breakfast, evening refreshments and stunning views.

On-property restaurant James St Bar + Kitchen offers a relaxed and modern dining experience with a focus on Western Australian produce. The all-day dining venue serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in-between including bar snacks and 24-hour room service. Chef Kevin Garcia has created a menu that is reflective of his philosophy to work with the best in local and seasonal ingredients.
