Through a joint venture, Willow Street Capital, Opterra Capital, The Charre Group and Duke Hospitality and their capital partner, The LCP Group, announced they have broken ground on the new Hotel Melby Downtown Melbourne, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Melbourne, Florida. Anticipated to open in late 2020, the new build property will bring casual sophistication to the heart of Florida's Space Coast, minutes from the Orlando Melbourne International Airport.

The stylish, 156-room hotel will be the first in Melbourne within walking distance to dining, shopping and nightlife. A stunning wrap-around rooftop will offer unbeatable water and city views as well as a bar and lounge. The hotel will also offer meeting spaces equipped with state-of-the-art technology, providing an unparalleled experience in the heart of the historic downtown district. Designed by Malcolm Berg's award-winning EoA Group in collaboration with Overcash Demmit Architecture, the building will be constructed by Welbro Building Corporation. The hotel will be managed by Duke Hospitality, an experienced operator, developer and owner of hotels, with 13 properties already in its portfolio.
