The Carlton Hotel Collection announces that  the Market Street hotel recently opened in the center of Edinburgh. At this Unesco World Heritage location, the hotel blends into the famous Edinburgh skyline and you can feel the inspiration of the surroundings. The brand new hotel in the Scottish capital is the 12th addition to Carlton and the fourth hotel of the group in Great Britain. Market Street hotel consists of 98 rooms and suites with an urban boutique style, individual character and individual design.

Rooftop champagne lounge Nor 'Loft 

The absolute highlight of the hotel is the rooftop champagne lounge; Nor 'Loft - the place to see and be seen. The rooftop champagne lounge is named after the Nor 'Loch and is a chic addition to the historic skyline. The lounge offers more than 20 different types of exclusive champagne, from the prestigious Grand Marques to the small, special wineries. The lounge offers panoramic views of Edinburgh's sights including Edinburgh Castle, The Scot Monument, Princes Street Gardens and Calton Hill. Nor 'Loft is open all day for breakfast, afternoon tea and small snacks with a focus on classic flavors and seasonal local ingredients. At night, the lounge transforms into a vibrant social hub with stunning views of the illuminated historic skyline of Edinburgh.

Located on bustling Market Street, within walking distance of the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle, the hotel is the first hotel in the Scottish capital to be affiliated with Design Hotels ™. The facade of the 98-room hotel is made of authentic Scottish stones; a homage to the rich heritage of the city. Behind it lies a very contemporary, modern heart: the luxurious interior, designed by FG ​​Stijl, which previously won prestigious prizes with, among others, Carlton's The Dominican in Brussels.
