Sheraton Kaua'i Coconut Beach Resort makes its debut on the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i following a property-wide transformation, unveiling 314 redesigned guest rooms, a brand-new arrival experience, oceanfront bar and restaurants, fully reinvented public spaces, a reenergized pool scene, and fresh programming. Centrally located on Kaua'i's East Side, the newly flagged resort offers unrivaled access for exploring the Garden Island from the spectacular scenery of the North Shore to the sunny beaches of the South Shore.
An idyllic location for island adventure, Sheraton Kaua'i Coconut Beach Resort is near Kapa'a-based activities and sights such as the Wailuā River popular for kayaking and the Sleeping Giant trailhead with panoramic views of Kaua'i's eastern shore. The resort is an equidistant one-hour drive to the island's northern and southern coasts providing opportunities for daytrips to some of the most coveted sights including Waimea Canyon State Park and the Nā Pali coastline.
Conceptualized by world-renowned design firm Gensler, the resort's design is a modern interpretation of Kaua'i's most exalted sights with a color palette inspired by the island's endless flora from Mount Wai'ale'ale and the majestic Wailuā River, set against a crisp background reminiscent of the plantations from the Royal Coconut Coast. Guest rooms open to private lanais to soak in the Hawaiian sun, and cinnamon wood create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Anchoring the resort is a revamped pool area where new food and beverage concepts and zero edge pool overlook the sweeping vistas of the sea surrounding the tropical island. Casual, sociable and with an understated surf-vibe setting, The Crooked Surf pool bar takes its name from Makaiwa, the curved surf that breaks on the shores of Kapa'a. The sophisticated tiki bar emphasizes the island's bounty with dishes such as the Big Kahuna burger, tuna poke and pork bau buns paired with a selection of craft cocktails, mocktails and low ABV drinks. For a refined and elevated dining experience, take a seat at Moamoa Hawaiian Fish House, which partners with local farmers and fishmongers to bring the freshest seasonal ingredients daily to the tables of travelers and locals. Expect an evolving Pacific Rim-inspired menu of dishes such as kampachi crudo, Kona clams, whole fried fish and table side poke.
A spectacular start to the day begins with a buffet breakfast of Portuguese sausage, char siu pork, kimchee fried rice and fresh fruit at Daybreak Restaurant. Complementing the buffet is a welcoming coffee bar for pour over and cold brew coffee, espresso, and malasadas. The courtyard is where guests can participate in twice-weekly luaus celebrating Hawaiian and Polynesian culture among other experiences.
