One of Deutsche Hospitality's luxury brand hotels is about to receive a fresh new look as the Steigenberger Conti Hansa in Kiel embarks on an extensive programme of conversion and renovation works. These measures are scheduled to take place during the period from November 2019 to the end of April 2020, and a total budget of €7 million has been earmarked for their completion. The works will have no impact on day-to-day operations at the hotel.

As well as taking in many of the rooms, the project will include full or partial refurbishment of the hotel's guest bathrooms, guest corridors, public areas, restaurant, lobby and conference area. Things will also be happening behind the scenes as the technical building services, the conservatory, the kitchen and the roof covering all undergo an update.

The hotel in Kiel occupies a central position in Kiel opposite the famous Baltic Sea Wharf. This means that guests enjoy the particular benefit of being able to access the City's tourist attractions and main transportation hubs without difficulty. Kiel Castle can be reached on foot in only three minutes, and the central railway station is also only a 20-minute walk away.
