Westin Hotels & Resorts, the global hospitality leader in wellness for more than a decade, is set to debut in the UK market with the highly anticipated opening of The Westin London City, this September. Boasting a prime riverfront location in the heart of the city, the hotel will be the Capital's latest 'bleisure' destination, perfect for both professional and rejuvenating stays. Designed by British architects and interior designers Dexter Moren Associates, the hotel's fluid design and modern residential aesthetic reflect its natural surroundings on the River Thames, an aspect intent of enhancing guests' wellness.

Primely positioned between the Thames and the bustling City of London, business and leisure meet in the perfect balance at The Westin London City. The location is ideal for those who are seeking a working environment whilst being able to prioritise wellness on the road. Situated where the final piece of the Thames pathway will connect Embankment to the Tower of London providing a direct link between the city and river, the interior design of the property will echo this merge between the city's urban landscape and the river's serenity. The walkway affords spectacular views across the river towards Shakespeare's Globe and the South Bank.

Owing to its atrium-style design the hotel's lobby area, aptly named The Haven, is flooded with natural light and features a bespoke art installation by renowned Dutch paper artist Gentenaar Torley that mirrors the hotel's riverside location, twirling and oscillating like underwater flora.

Spread across two floors, The Haven features floor-to-ceiling windows to showcase the hotel's enviable surroundings, and a palette of natural colours has been carefully selected to evoke feelings of tranquillity. Whilst furnishings seek inspiration from the natural world in its purest form and feature oak timber panelling, rich green hues, matt finishes, and curved lines. Encompassing modern elegance, guestrooms and suites boast angled windows affording guests with views of the bustling city beneath and are complete with Westin's signature Heavenly Bed to provide the ultimate comfort. The property's nine distinct apartments feature extensive river-facing views, whilst natural colours make up the palette, creating a feel that is personal and instinctive, providing a sense of renewal. Furnished with stone greys, light oaks, and forest greens to echo the natural environment.

Embodying the brand's Let's Rise mantra, The Westin London City empowers guests to take back control of their routine by prioritising their wellness while travelling. Spread across 370sqm., the hotel's Heavenly™ Spa by Westin features a 12m indoor pool, which has been delicately positioned around the archaeological remains of the Huggin Hill Bathhouse below, once one of the principal public buildings of a Roman town. In keeping with its roots, the pool's interiors take inspiration from the Roman remains and textured bath stone contrasts with sleek dark metals to pay homage to the rich history with a modern twist, resulting in a truly relaxing atmosphere that evokes a serenity throughout.
