Le Sereno, the intimate, award-winning beachfront property designed by Christian Liaigre, located on the pristine Grand Cul de Sac, reopens its doors on the 29th of October for the 2021/2022 season. With the completion of a full property redevelopment and the addition of brand-new suites, Le Sereno offers first-time visitors and returning guests alike a reimagined experience in St. Barths this season.

Suites Piscine

Le Sereno's newest suites offer the ultimate private and serene experience. Ideal for families or small groups, the new Suites Piscine have the option to be combined with the adjoined Bungalow Piscine to create expansive accommodations that include a 10-meter private pool. This unique 'piscine' pool is identical to Le Sereno's stunning main pool, replicated on a smaller scale for private enjoyment. The outdoor area also offers a private wooden deck, furnished using Christian Liaigre furniture and signature wooden lounge chairs to create an elegant outdoor living room overlooking the Grand Cul de Sac. Interiors echo the hotel's understated luxury décor with intricate oak ceilings, warmly textured Crema Luna white stone from Carrara, Italy, and a neutral color palate that come together to offer elevated living spaces.

New at Ristorante Al Mare - Gourmet Festival Partnership, New Cocktail Menu, and more

Le Sereno's Ristorante Al Mare, offering panoramic views of the Grand Cul de Sac and seating furnished by design legends Christian Liaigre and Patricia Urquiola, will offer inspired new menu items and culinary experiences at its open-air dining room and beachfront extension, 'Plage,' this season.

St. Barth's Gourmet Festival Partnership: The St. Barth's Gourmet Festival brings the world's most celebrated chefs to the island November 10th through 14th. This year, Le Sereno will be partnering with French celebrity chef Juan Arbelaez for the festival. Arbelaez will be taking over the hotel's Ristorante Al Mare to offer a fresh, globally inspired take on gourmet cuisine.

After graduating Le Cordon Bleu Paris, Chef Arbelaez honed his impressive culinary skills throughout some of Europe's most prestigious kitchens, before opening successful restaurants of his own in Paris including Yaya, Vida, Plantxa and Levain. Dedicated to offering guests and visitors world-class dining experiences, Le Sereno's partnership with Chef Arbelaez provides a new take on beloved dishes in an unparalleled beachside setting.

New Cocktail Menu: Le Sereno's Ristorante Al Mare will be introducing exciting new cocktail and mocktail offerings as a part of their refreshed 2021 menu. Incorporating local produce such as mango, passion fruit, coconut and even Aloe Vera, the restaurant's new beverage offerings bring together tropical flavors with top-shelf spirits and fresh juices to create inspired blends that transform a single product into an entirely novel tasting experience.

Also new to Ristorante Al Mare's menu this season is Il Sereno's famous Pistachio Pasta, which is the most popular menu item at its Michelin-starred restaurant in Lake Como.

Le Sereno Villas

Ideal for families and groups traveling together this holiday season, Le Sereno's three Villas boasts the unique benefit of ultimate privacy alongside five-star service and the attention to detail for which Sereno Hotels is known. With amazing views of the Grand Cul de Sac natural reserve, Le Sereno Villas offer over 7,000 square feet of private living space, stunning ocean views, an expansive outdoor wooden deck area, four bedtooms, and a private pool. Considered among the finest villas in St. Barths, Le Sereno's Villas provide unrivaled luxury accommodations and a secluded space in which to enjoy peaceful respite.

Wellness Haven on the Marine Reserve

Answering the call for immersive and restorative destinations in which travelers are able to relax and unwind in nature, Le Sereno provides unparalleled wellness offerings combined with a unique proximity to marine and nature reserves. Positioned on the Grand Cul de Sac, the hotel boasts access to the 180 meter stretch (600 ft) of the island's premier marine reserve. Offering ideal conditions for water sports and beachside fitness, the hotel offers outdoor activities from snorkeling to kite surfing lessons to private yoga classes on the pool deck, beach or on your own private terrace. When guests are ready to refresh and restore, the hotel's Spa offers an outdoor spa pavilion, and the island's only beachfront treatment room, to enjoy Valmont treatments created exclusively for Le Sereno to instill peace and harmonize body and mind.

New Sustainability Features

Le Sereno's total-property redevelopment provided the opportunity to incorporate new measures to limit environmental impact throughout every aspect of the hotel's design. This included the use of sustainably sourced materials, new solar panels, new windows, lighting and insulation; all outfitted for conservation and limited consumption. The hotel has just completed the final phase of its eco-friendly revamp with the addition of new water systems in which the hotel desalinizes ocean water, uses it in the hotel, and treats the used water to nourish the hotel's beautiful tropical gardens.
