Hyatt Announces Plans for Hyatt Place Georgetown Demerara
Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced today that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a franchise agreement with SIR Investments Guyana Inc. for the development of Hyatt Place Georgetown Demerara. Expected to open in 2023, the 125-room hotel will be managed by Aimbridge Hospitality and signifies the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Guyana.

Located in the Providence community in East Bank Demerara, Hyatt Place Georgetown Demerara will be located only 15 minutes away from the commercial hub of Georgetown and 22 miles from Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
