The Manner, a new luxury hotel, has opened in the heart of Manhattan's SoHo neighborhood, offering a unique blend of refined hospitality and residential-style elegance. With 97 rooms, including ten suites and a penthouse, The Manner provides a more intimate and design-driven experience compared to traditional hotels. This new concept from Standard International emphasizes understated luxury, with a focus on creating a home-like atmosphere for its guests.
Designed by Milan-based Hannes Peer in collaboration with Standard's in-house team, the interiors are rich with textures, materials, and custom art pieces that give the hotel a sophisticated yet warm feel. Each room features thoughtful touches such as full-length mirrors, marble bathrooms, and custom chandeliers, creating an inviting and stylish environment. The layered design extends throughout the property, reflecting a seamless combination of modernity and classic elegance.
The Manner offers three distinct dining options for guests to enjoy. The Otter is a seafood-focused restaurant that brings a fresh, neighborhood feel to the ground floor, open to both guests and visitors. On the second floor, Sloane's cocktail bar offers a chic escape, while The Apartment provides an exclusive, guest-only lounge space developed with James Beard Award nominee Alex Stupak. These dining experiences enhance the hotel's reputation as a haven of luxury and exclusivity.
Scheduled to open in 2025, the hotel's rooftop will further elevate the guest experience, providing a stylish, private space high above the city.
