Manchester City Football Club reveals ‘The Medlock’ and welcomes Radisson Hotel Group to the Club’s entertainment destination

  • Radisson Hotel Group and Manchester City announce collaboration for the Club's new 401 keys hotel, set to open in late 2026
  • The upper-upscale hotel will join the Radisson Blu family and will form part of the Club's £300 million development at the Etihad Campus
  • The hotel will be known as The Medlock, named after the river Medlock that runs underneath the Etihad Campus

Radisson Hotel Group announces its collaboration with Manchester City for the Club's 401-room hotel, which is set to open in late 2026. Operating all year round, the hotel will provide convenient and comfortable accommodation for music and sport fans who are attending events at the Etihad Stadium, visitors to the UK's largest indoor arena, Co-op Live, as well as guests exploring the wider entertainment destination and Manchester itself.

The Medlock will offer guests a choice of suites, deluxe and standard rooms, in addition to a luxury penthouse suite. Upon completion, guests will also have access to a wide variety of food and drink outlets, a roof walk and museum experience and commercial office space in the expanded stadium area.

To capitalize on the high demand for large corporate and MICE facilities in Manchester - one of the UK's most desirable and fastest growing cities for both tourists and businesses - the hotel will have access to meeting and events space available at the Etihad Stadium and is easily accessible from the city centre.

With a global business and leisure footprint that continues to grow, The Medlock will join Radisson Blu and Radisson Hotel Group's impressive portfolio of 1,520 hotels in operation and under development in iconic locations around the world.

The upper-upscale hotel will be operated by industry-recognized hotel management company, Valor Hospitality.
