Convenient Location in West London

The hotel is situated close to Gunnersbury Park, Chiswick High Road, and the Royal Botanic Kew Gardens. It is also within walking distance of Brentford FC's Gtech Community Stadium. Guests can easily access the rest of London via Gunnersbury station, just a seven-minute walk away, which provides both London Underground District line and London Overground services.

Design and amenities

The hotel features a contemporary design, including a newly revamped reception area and next-generation rooms. The 85 Bar Cafe, a new restaurant concept, offers a variety of dining options for both business and leisure guests.

The property aims to provide an environment for all types of travelers, with facilities designed for relaxation and convenience.

Sustainability features

Sustainability has been a key focus in the design of the new hotel. The building holds a BREEAM Excellent rating and an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of A. The hotel uses air source heat pumps to generate hot water and incorporates energy-saving features such as low-energy lighting, motion-sensing controls, and water-efficient showers and taps. Additionally, the hotel has a 'living' roof covered with vegetation, contributing to local biodiversity.

Growth and job creation

The opening of the Chiswick hotel is part of Travelodge's expansion strategy. The hotel has created 20 new jobs for the local community and is one of several new properties under development. Travelodge currently has additional hotels under construction in locations including Skegness, Harwich, Bromsgrove, and across London in Beckenham, Stratford, and Upminster.

The company has identified over 300 potential locations for future hotels, including more than 100 sites in London. These efforts are part of Travelodge's ongoing plan to expand its network and provide more options for travelers across the UK.
