ALH Acquires Premium Site for Marriott Dual-Brand Hotel in Bastrop, Texas

American Liberty Hospitality (ALH), a Texas-based hotel development and management company, is proud to announce the development of its latest dual brand hotel, the Fairfield by Marriott and TownePlace Suites by Marriott, Bastrop, Texas, following a signed agreement with Marriott International. ALH purchased a site within Sendero, a 75-acre master-planned mixed-use development set to become a central hub for living, working and entertainment in the Bastrop area.

Strategically located in one of central Texas' most active growth corridors, this dual-brand hotel will serve a dynamic mix of travelers. In addition to proximity to downtown Bastrop, Bastrop State Park, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (20 min) and Circuit of the Americas (20 min), the property will also benefit from the rapid expansion of regional economic drivers.

Bastrop has emerged as a hub for innovation and large-scale investment, particularly from high-profile companies. Tesla's nearby Gigafactory continues to generate business travel and relocation demand, while the $1 billion Bastrop 552 film and TV campus is drawing creative talent and production crews to the area. Acutronic USA has also expanded its aerospace and defense manufacturing footprint in the region. Meanwhile, Elon Musk's ventures — including SpaceX's $280 million semiconductor R&D facility, The Boring Company's headquarters and the planned Snailbrook company town — are fueling job creation and further solidifying Bastrop's role as a center for advanced technology and industry.

This Texas-based sponsor and operator have a strong track record in hospitality across the state. This marks ALH's fourth dual-brand project, following successful developments such as the 300-room Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites Houston Medical Center, the 319-room Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites Houston Galleria, and the 300-room Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites Houston Downtown. Their local expertise, combined with Marriott's robust global distribution and loyalty network, ensures a solid foundation for long-term success.

The dual-brand hotel will feature an outdoor pool and a full-service bar — added amenities by the sponsor to enhance guest experience, beyond brand requirements. 

Construction is scheduled to begin later this year, with the property projected to open in early 2027.
