Leonardo Mainz Opens Earlier Than Planned
Leonardo Hotels Central Europe has opened its newest hotel in the Rhine-Main region earlier than announced. The Leonardo Mainz has been receiving guests since 15 July 2025, a good two weeks before the originally scheduled launch date of 1 August. Hotel Director David Wilhelm and his team were on hand to greet the first guests in person. The Hagman Kadri family from Sweden had been on a two-week trip through Europe and took a spontaneous decision to check in on the opening day. They were delighted to be given such a great reception.

The hotel offers 217 stylishly designed rooms and suites. Guests can expect a modern atmosphere, a generously proportioned lobby, a smart restaurant complete with terrace and an elegant bar. The building's historic vaulted cellar is also home to the "Kasematten", a further quaint bar. A health and beauty spa area with a pool, two saunas and a whirlpool provides the perfect place to relax. 13 rooms capable of flexible use are available for meetings and events. This facility extends over an area of 526 square meters, and the largest room is 117 square metres in size.
The Leonardo Mainz takes the regional portfolio of Leonardo Hotels to seven. Its location near to Mainz's old quarter offers ideal links to the city's sights, cultural attractions and hospitality scene.
