Radisson Hotel Group Accelerates Adriatic Growth with a New Flagship Signing in Montenegro
Radisson Hotel Group is proud to announce the signing of a flagship new-build property on Montenegro's stunning Adriatic coast: Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences, Tivat. This signing with ALK Group, marks a significant step in the Group's strategy to expand its presence across the Balkans, where the portfolio now consists of 30 hotels and over 5,600 rooms in operation or under development.
Set to open ahead of the 2027 summer season, the hotel is under active construction and is located in a key destination identified by Radisson Hotel Group's regional resort growth strategy. The Montenegro coastline, with its blend of historic charm, natural beauty, and increasing luxury developments, is a strategic focus for the Group as it seeks to deliver premium hospitality experiences in high-demand locations.
In the up-and-coming neighbourhood of Seljanovo in Tivat, just a short walk from Porto Montenegro, the Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences, Tivat will introduce the brand's first coastal presence in the country. This upscale condo-style development will feature 61 hotel rooms and 44 serviced apartments, providing flexibility for both short-term guests and long-term investors.
The hotel will offer a contemporary lifestyle experience across three buildings, one dedicated to hotel services, one to serviced apartments, and one hosting a café. The lobby will span approximately 75 square meters and lead into a 161 square meter lobby bar. Culinary experiences will be at the forefront with an all-day dining restaurant, an expansive terrace restaurant, and an exclusive rooftop bar. A café will offer additional space, enhancing the overall guest experience.
The wellness offering includes a 314 square meter spa area, a gym, and two indoor swimming pools. The property, including its meetings and events space, will reflect Radisson Blu's high standards with well-integrated services and elegant public areas.
