AATMOS Breaks Ground on the Scoundrel Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Gatlinburg, TN
Construction has officially begun on The Scoundrel Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel located in the heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Designed to reflect the area's rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted ties to moonshining, the hotel will offer an elevated experience with moody, upscale interiors and lush, nature-inspired landscaping throughout the property.

Situated just across from the Gatlinburg Convention Center, the 132-room boutique hotel will feature a lobby lounge, open-air courtyard, mountain-view fitness center, flexible event spaces for indoor and outdoor gatherings, and its signature dining venue, Mischief Made Restaurant and Bar. Scoundrel Hotel will join the Tribute Portfolio, a collection of characterful independent hotels within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, known for their heart for connecting people and places through captivating design, vibrant social spaces and sincere service.
Development and hotel operations are being spearheaded by Tennessee-based AATMOS, as one of the rare lifestyle-oriented accommodations in an area that draws more than 15 million visitors annually, The Scoundrel aims to stand out with interiors influenced by local aesthetics—think plaid upholstery, charred wood accents, leather furnishings, and handwoven materials.
