Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Signs Ramada by Wyndham in Darbhanga, India
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world's largest hotel franchising company by number of properties, today announced the signing of Ramada by Wyndham Darbhanga, an 80-room hotel slated to open in September 2027. The property is being developed by Mr. Vijay Prakash, Partner of Shilit Hospitality LLP.

Strategically located off NH 27 in Darbhanga, along India's East West Corridor, the hotel offers easy access—9 km from Darbhanga Airport and 6 km from AIIMS hospital. Known as the "Gateway to Bengal," Darbhanga is Bihar's fifth largest city and district headquarters. The hotel will feature 80 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, meeting spaces, fitness center, swimming pool, large banqueting facilities, and modern Ramada by Wyndham amenities.
This latest signing reflects Wyndham's ongoing commitment to expanding across tier-2 and tier-3 cities in India, focusing on high-potential markets with strong demand for religious, heritage, business, and medical tourism.
