Hilton Houston Westchase Redefines Hospitality for Business Travelers

The Hilton Houston Westchase is undergoing a complete transformation led by Texas based hotel developers American Liberty Hospitality (ALH) and Escalera Capital. The developer duo is reimagining the property with a redesign that celebrates the city's industrial heritage while honoring its natural resources and entrepreneurial spirit.

Their plans represent more than a refresh. Guests will discover an entirely new hotel experience — from a reimagined lobby that creates an open, light-filled gathering space, to contemporary guest rooms designed for the way today's travelers live and work.

Located at 9999 Westheimer Road in the heart of the Westchase district and nearby the Energy Corridor, the hotel has a rich history serving Houston and its travelers, said ALH Principal Nick Massad III.

ALH tapped long-time project partner Portfolio, the Woodlands-based design firm that recently renovated the Embassy Suites Houston Downtown, to bring this history-laden story to life. Portfolio's Principal, Craig Allen Smith, said the concept honors two sides of Houston's heritage: the grit of hard-working people with the sophistication of the modern traveler.
