The former K West Hotel is set to reopen in February 2026 as Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherd's Bush, part of the IHG Hotels portfolio, following a complete transformation.

Located in a building that once housed the BBC's Kensington House recording studios, the hotel's design will reference its musical past, when artists such as David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley recorded on site. The relaunch aims to channel that heritage of creativity, connection and culture for a new generation of Londoners, visitors and business travelers.

The property will offer 231 bedrooms, including a number of suites, along with a restaurant featuring an open kitchen, a neighbourhood bar and an urban spa focused on wellbeing, described as the first of its kind in the area.

Situated close to O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, Bush Hall, the BBC Television Studios and Westfield London, Hotel Indigo London K West Shepherd's Bush is expected to add fresh momentum to one of West London's most creative districts. Further details about the project are due to be announced in the coming months.
