IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the world's leading hotel companies, announces the signing of Crowne Plaza Jakarta PIK2 within the PIK2 development, a 6,000-hectare world-class integrated waterfront township in Tangerang, Northern part of Jakarta, Indonesia.

The stunning new 220-key property, scheduled to open in 2027, will be the first hotel to open in PIK2 as the anchor hotel within the development and joins a rapidly growing Crowne Plaza portfolio of over 550 open and pipeline properties globally.
As Indonesia's visitor economy accelerates, the nation is targeting 16 million foreign arrivals and more than one billion domestic trips by year-end. As the country welcomed 11.43 million international visitors in the first nine months of 2025, a 10.22% increase year-over-year, the partnership brings a timely premium addition to Greater Jakarta's hospitality landscape. Set within Greater Jakarta's first urban beach area and approximately seven minutes from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the hotel is poised to serve business and leisure travellers seeking convenience, connectivity, and design-forward comforts.
Planned facilities include 220 rooms and suites, two restaurants and a bar, a health club, spa, swimming pool, and world-class meeting spaces totalling more than 990 square metres. True to the brand's ethos, Crowne Plaza Jakarta PIK2 will feature flexible event venues and curated social spaces - crafted for the modern cadence of blended travel, where work and leisure coexist effortlessly.
PIK2 will have commercial, residential and lifestyle concepts, including a four-kilometre stretch of white sand beach, a 60-hectare greenbelt, and world class convention & exhibition facilities. Seamlessly integrated within its natural environment, PIK2 will be a smart city designed with modern technology for work, life and play.

IHG has 33 open hotels in Indonesia across eight brands and 12 pipeline properties. Crowne Plaza Jakarta PIK2 will join an existing estate of six properties in Jakarta, across the InterContinental, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands.
