Safestay, one of Europe's largest hostel groups, is delighted to announce the opening of two new hostels in the sought-after alpine resort of Kitzbühel, Austria.
The properties, Safestay Kitzbühel Centre and Safestay Kitzbühel Alpine, offer a combined 70 beds in the resort, with a choice of private en-suite rooms and shared dorms for 2-10 guests. Designed for solo travellers, friends or families, prices start from €40.85 per night, offering one of the resort's most affordable stays without compromising on quality. Early guest feedback has been very positive, with the hostels currently rated 5/5 on TripAdvisor and receiving an 8.7/10 on Booking.com for location, comfort and service.
Both hostels are located within walking distance of the Hahnenkamm ski lifts, local restaurants and transport links, giving guests convenient access to world-famous ski slopes, scenic hikes on the Kitzbüheler Horn and easy day trips to Salzburg. Those visiting in January can also experience the thrilling Hahnenkamm downhill race, one of the most famous skiing events in the world.
The two properties have been rebranded under Safestay following the Group's first franchise agreement announced in September. Since then, Safestay has completed a second franchise agreement with its Edinburgh Cowgate property, underscoring the Group's commitment to exploring capital-light growth opportunities which leverage the Group's trusted pan-European brand and well-invested technology and systems. Introducing franchising alongside Safestay's core expansion strategy supports scalable, flexible development while enhancing the reach of the brand across key European destinations.
