The strong demand for this asset has been instrumental in the hotel group's decision to expand its presence in the city with a second property. The Hotel Riu Plaza London The Westminster features 464 rooms and is located just one minute from the River Thames and Tate Britain, and within walking distance of the historic Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and the iconic Big Ben.

The new hotel is also close to Buckingham Palace, St James's Park and the London Eye, and offers guests a full buffet breakfast, a hallmark of RIU's city offerings, along with a lobby café bar, meeting rooms and a fully equipped gym open 24 hours a day.

Originally built in 2003, the hotel underwent a complete renovation in 2021, at which point it joined the Curio Collection by Hilton.
