The Curtis Hotel Renovation Unveiled: 13 Themed Floors, Endless Creativity to Discover
The Curtis Hotel, downtown Denver's most playful hotel, has completed a multimillion-dollar transformation that reimaged every corner of the property as a nostalgic escape from the ordinary. The full-property renovation includes all 13 of the hotel’s iconic themed floors, offering experiences like the summer camp-inspired “Camp Curtis” floor and a nod to Arcade favorites on the “Level Up” floor, plus redesigned guest rooms, hyperthemed suites and meeting and event spaces that that are as fun and imaginative as they are functional, proving hotels don’t have to be predictable.
Each of the Curtis’ themed floors brings its concept to life through immersive props, playful decor and interactive elements, while the hyperthemed suites dial the experience up to eleven with floor-to-ceiling fun that sparks a transformative stay for guests. The renovation preserves the property’s "Stay Happy" spirit while elevating the guest experience with bold new designs, art curated by NINE dot ARTS and a serious dose of personality that make the Curtis as comfortable as it is photo-worthy.
In guestrooms, guests can expect interactive elements, unexpected details and games matching the floor theme, in addition to a variety of new tech upgrades, including smart TVs in Hilton Connected Rooms and upgraded Wi-Fi throughout the property.
At the heart of this transformation stand the Curtis’ hyperthemed suites,
- Party like a Rockstar – On the Life of the Party floor, this suite sets the stage with an iridescent glitter wall and lively artwork.
- Recess – On the Blacktop floor, this suite throws it back to the old school days with a vintage classroom desk, schoolhouse chairs and a chalkboard accent wall.
- Get a Clue – On the iconic, 13th floor known for superstition, this suite as part of the Knock on Wood floor includes a moody color pallete, mini pool table and, of course, a Clue game set.
Along with newly renovated guest rooms, the Curtis has ensured they will never face “boring boardroom” allegations. The updated 30,000 + square feet of meeting and event spaces are infused with vibrant colors and patterns such as candy-striped walls, bright carpets, fun color-blocking and more to inspire creativity and innovation. This includes the Curtis’ 2,500 square foot rooftop terrace, Denver's largest outdoor hotel meeting space, offering city skyline views and an outdoor fireplace to turn work into play.
