Dellshire Resort

Pyramid Global Hospitality Opens Dellshire Resort in Wisconsin Dells, The Destination’s First New Resort in More Than Two Decades

Dellshire Resort, the newest resort in Wisconsin Dells, is now open, introducing a new kind of immersive resort experience to the destination. The area’s first new-build resort in more than two decades, Dellshire blends medieval fantasy-inspired storytelling with the refined comfort of an upscale Midwest retreat. Whether visiting as a family, couple, or group, Dellshire Resort offers a travel experience where themed environments, interactive programming and a spirit of discovery engage guests of all ages in one of the Midwest’s most beloved destinations.

Dellshire's 208 guestrooms and suites range from cozy retreats to sprawling multi-bedroom suites sleeping up to 13, each designed with the resort's medieval character woven into every detail. That sense of immersion carries throughout the property, into Serpent's Bay, the indoor-outdoor aquatic complex with five distinct pool and splash experiences, including an adults-only swim-up bar. Five food and beverage outlets, anchored by the tavern-style Blade & Barrel, keep guests fed and entertained from morning through night. Hero's Hall adds another layer of energy to any part of the day, with arcade games and a private party room, while dedicated meeting and event facilities make Dellshire equally compelling for groups and corporate retreats.

Golspar, Guardian of the Resort

As guests arrive at the resort, they are greeted by Golspar, a colossal 70-foot-long steel dragon, breathing fire across the horizon and instantly setting the tone for the Dellshire experience. Created by Las Vegas–based metal sculptor Kevin Stone, the nearly 17,000-pound structure ranks among the largest steel dragon sculptures in the world. Golspar serves as a central character, woven into playful design details throughout the property.

Once inside, visitors are transported to a castle brought to life. The two-story entrance framed by cathedral-style windows brings light into the space, while stone masonry and sculptural corbels carry the medieval vision from floor to ceiling. Underfoot, a compass is inlaid into the lobby floor, a nod to the spirit of exploration that runs throughout the resort. Shields displayed across the stone walls pay homage to the characters integral to the Legends of Dellshire Mixed Reality Adventure. Large steel chandeliers overhead continue the medieval design. An indoor koi pond adds a playful touch, with the waters watched over by a dragon fountain. Created as a place to gather, the lobby has regal seating areas warmed by a roaring fireplace, inviting guests to slow down and settle in.

In the lobby, The Thirsty Dragon serves handcrafted cocktails and shareable bites, the perfect place to swap stories after a day in the Dells. Also in the lobby, the boutique and marketplace Kettle & Keep invites guests to lean further into the fantasy, stocking everything from dragon plushies to ball caps and imaginative keepsakes to bring the magic home. It also serves an array of provisions and grab-and-go options such as coffee, breakfast items and decadent gelato.

Quarters of the Realm: Rooms & Suites

The resort's 208 guestrooms and suites are designed to feel both fairytale-like and modern, carrying the resort's medieval character from the lobby straight into every room. Dark woods, custom millwork, arched windows and subtle iron accents nod to traditional craftsmanship, while elevated amenities and spacious layouts ensure a comfortable stay. Deep green and forest murals deepen the sense of escape, creating spaces that feel like a retreat into another world.

Across 11 distinct accommodation types, the resort serves a wide range of travelers, from couples and multigenerational families to corporate groups. Traditional guestroom options like the Valor Rooms and Noble Rooms sleep four to six guests with flexible layouts and space. For larger groups, six suite configurations provide expansive, residential-style accommodations, including:

  • Earl Suite: Sleeps up to six, featuring a private bedroom with two beds and a separate living area.
  • Watchtower Suite: A corner suite sleeping six to eight guests, offering sweeping views and a fireplace. Layouts vary, with either two bedrooms with king beds and a sofa bed or a bunk room paired with a king bed and sleeper sofa.
  • Gatehouse Suite: A corner suite with 180-degree views, a king bed, kitchenette and a living area with a fireplace.
  • Duke Suite: Sleeps up to 10, featuring two private bedrooms, a bunk room, two bathrooms and a kitchenette.
  • Queen’s Quarters: Accommodates up to eight with a private bedroom, two full bathrooms, a kitchenette and a lofted space with bunk beds.
  • King’s Quarters: The resort’s most expansive offering at 1,500 square feet, sleeping up to 13 guests with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchenette and a loft with three twin beds, delivering a grand, residential feel ideal for larger groups of travelers.

Throughout the resort, select rooms feature custom-built bunk beds that add a fun touch for younger guests, creating a sleepover-style design. Whether booking a classic guestroom or a sprawling suite, every guest at Dellshire wakes up inside the story.

Pools, Play and Entertainment

Dellshire Resort offers a thoughtfully curated collection of amenities that spark imagination and encourage relaxation for guests of all ages. At the heart of the resort is Serpent’s Bay, the expansive indoor-outdoor pool complex spanning five distinct aquatic experiences including pools and splash pads. Inside, the pool invites active play with a children’s slide and in-water games like basketball. Scale Cove, the adults-only swim-up bar in a second pool that is both indoor-outdoor, features in-water seating and a full menu of cocktails and snacks. Nearby sits The Grotto, the oversized indoor hot tub pavilion.  Outdoors, the two heated indoor-outdoor pools and one seasonal pool are flanked by soaring column firepits that cast a glow over the water, and a cascading waterfall sets a storybook scene. Loungers, umbrellas and private cabanas complete the experience.

Hero’s Hall serves as a 9,000-square-foot, two-story hub for family entertainment. A large dragon skull hangs overhead, while castle motifs are woven throughout. Guests of all ages can dive into an extensive arcade with games and prizes. Within Hero’s Hall, Gilded Spouts serves barrels of beverages such as Wisconsin craft beers and cocktails on self-service taps for adults and a selection of sodas for younger guests. A private party room, Knights Chamber, rounds out the space, offering a dedicated setting for birthday and group celebrations.

Dining Experiences Across the Realm

Dining at Dellshire Resort is woven into the overall journey, with five distinct venues designed for gatherings of every size, all led by Culinary Director Justin Draper. From The Thirsty Dragon in the lobby and Gilded Spouts in Hero's Hall, to Scale Cove poolside and the Kettle & Keep café and marketplace, every corner of the resort offers a place to gather and eat. Blade & Barrel serves as the resort's signature tavern-inspired restaurant, balancing comfort with inventive interpretations of classic fare made with farm-forward ingredients. Signature dishes include the Seven-Finger Pork Chop, Medieval Double Burger and Fried Northern Walleye. Built for feasts and milestones as much as casual dinners, Blade & Barrel also offers a private dining room to accommodate groups and corporate events.

Beyond the resort, Dawn Manor, located just a five-minute drive away, invites visitors to dine within a restored 19th-century mansion overlooking Mirror Lake. The Victorian-inspired restaurant pairs historic charm with elevated modern classics while celebrating the original home's long-standing legacy in Wisconsin Dells. Five period-themed dining rooms offer settings for celebrations and business dinners alike. Hidden within the restaurant, Uphoff’s Rotunda, a storied speakeasy relocated from Chicago to Wisconsin Dells in 1940, once again serves Prohibition-era cocktails and fine wines for which it has long been celebrated.

Regal Spaces for Meetings, Receptions, and Retreats

Dellshire Resort offers a dramatic and memorable setting for corporate retreats, private events and group gatherings, with 10,875 square feet of indoor meeting space. The Keystone Event Center features flexible spaces that can accommodate both intimate sessions and grand celebrations. The Chaucer-Troyes Ballroom serves as the centerpiece for larger events, seating up to 280 guests and showcasing stone-accented walls, soaring ceilings and a private outdoor balcony. It's also divisible into two rooms. The pre-function foyer provides a flexible space for cocktail hours, buffet setups, and event registration. Additionally, the Troubadour Room offers the perfect space for an intimate board meeting or breakout session.

Resort-Wide Mixed Reality Adventures

Launching in summer 2026, Dellshire Resort will introduce Legends of Dellshire, a first-of-its-kind mixed reality experience that will be the resort’s signature attraction. Through augmented reality headsets, the resort itself becomes a living, interactive story world, with themed locations across the property for guests to discover, engage with and unlock as part of an evolving narrative that unfolds throughout their stay.
