Sublime Hospitality Group Opened New Hotel in Comporta
In 2026, Sublime Sand expands the universe created by the brand that has put the Comporta region, Portugal, on the luxury hotel industry map over the past decade. Its essence remains unchanged: tranquillity, refined taste, a deep connection to nature, and genuine hospitality.
51 hectares, 43 new villas, three central buildings featuring restaurants, boutiques, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a library and, during the summer, a pop-up nightclub. This is the new Sublime Comporta, inaugurated in May 2026. The architectural project was designed by Fragmentos and the interiors were created by Andringa Studio.
The Sand wing enriches the Sublime experience while maintaining a balance between nature and contemporary lifestyle, with an architectural project signed by Lisbon-based Fragments studio and interior design by Portuguese and long-time collaborator Andringa Studio. The main square features the Atrium, a vibrant social hub home to the Beefbar—the Monaco-born restaurant phenomenon—alongside a bar, a curated retail space, a kids’ club, and a café-library designed for quieter moments. A few steps away, Aqua unfolds as a leisure area featuring an indoor heated pool, an outdoor pool, a gym, and the Davvero BLU pool bar, as well as authentic Italian flavours brought to Comporta by Davvero, the restaurant originating from Sublime’s Lisbon outpost.
The new additions don’t end here: the Forum emerges as a large-scale venue designed to host corporate gatherings, social celebrations, conferences, and even performances, complete with an open-air amphitheatre and a nightclub.
Sublime Comporta now extends across two distinct areas: the Terracota wing is home to the original Sublime, where the resort’s authentic spirit and relaxed elegance first took shape; the Sand wing offers a contemporary extension of the experience, with vibrant social spaces, new gastronomic and wellness concepts, and plenty of room to connect with nature.
With this new project, the group continues to place sustainability at the heart of its philosophy.
