Punthill Epping
Punthill Epping officially opens in Melbourne’s booming north
LiveStay has officially opened the doors to Punthill Epping, a new 100-key apartment hotel positioned within Melbourne’s rapidly growing northern corridor and the landmark $2 billion New Epping urban renewal precinct developed by Riverlee.
Located at 25 Greengate Way, Epping, the new property delivers much-needed premium extended stay accommodation to one of Victoria’s fastest growing regions, supporting increasing demand from corporate travellers, healthcare professionals, visiting families and leisure guests.
The opening marks another milestone in LiveStay’s continued expansion of its Punthill Apartment Hotels portfolio across Australia, with Punthill Epping strategically positioned within Melbourne’s largest public-private healthcare cluster and adjacent to major commercial, retail and industrial precincts.
LiveStay CEO Zed Sanjana said the decision to expand into Epping was driven by the wider area’s significant population growth, evolving business landscape and longstanding undersupply of quality serviced apartment accommodation.
Sanjana said New Epping’s emergence as a major economic and healthcare destination made it a natural fit for the Punthill brand.
Situated within New Epping, the hotel is surrounded by expanding healthcare infrastructure including Northern Hospital Epping, Northern Private Hospital and a growing network of specialist medical facilities, creating sustained accommodation demand from medical professionals, patients and visiting families.
The property also benefits from proximity to industrial estates, logistics hubs and commercial precincts, including businesses servicing manufacturing, construction, food distribution and healthcare industries.
Developed in partnership with Riverlee, Punthill Epping forms part of the broader New Epping masterplan, a 51-hectare mixed-use development that will ultimately deliver approximately 2,000 homes, 110,000sqm of commercial and retail space, healthcare facilities, public open space and community infrastructure.
Riverlee Development Director David Lee said the opening of the hotel represented an important addition to the evolving precinct.
Designed for both short and extended stays, Punthill Epping offers a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, including interconnecting and accessible room options.
Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, smart TVs with streaming capability, high-speed Wi-Fi and in-room laundry facilities, delivering the convenience and comfort of home for overnight, medium and long-term guests.
On-site facilities include a spacious conference and meeting space, a future restaurant, a fully equipped gymnasium, guest pantry, reception and lobby area, as well as car parking spaces.
Sanjana said the property had been designed specifically to meet the evolving expectations of today’s travellers.
While the property is expected to primarily service corporate and healthcare-related demand, LiveStay also anticipates growing interest from leisure travellers exploring Melbourne’s expanding northern region, including nearby retail destinations such as Pacific Epping and the broader dining and lifestyle offerings emerging across the corridor.
